When we decided to proceed with our kitchen extension, we were understandably concerned about how disruptive the process might be with two young children. However, from the initial planning stages through to completion, we were supported by a team of professionals who were not only highly capable but also friendly and considerate throughout.

At every stage, we were presented with clear options and had open discussions before making decisions, so we always knew what to expect. This made a significant difference to our experience.

Plus Rooms aftercare team is dynamic and very quick to respond. We’ve had one issue that niggled away and Paul would not leave it until he had figured it out and sorted it. The response to a ‘help’ is speedily dealt with and the level of care and work is superb. The build was great, we’re so pleased we worked with plus rooms. The after care is a really unexpected bonus. Would highly recommend this company. And Paul… what can I say. He’s a genius.

We had a side return extension completed by Plus Rooms and the process was smooth from start to finish. We used Plus Rooms’ own teams for every aspect of the project, including glazing, kitchen and finishing, and every tradesperson was polite, respectful and communicated clearly throughout.

Despite the disruption of living without a proper kitchen, the team made it possible for us to remain in the house for the duration and ensured we always had what we needed, including a functional temporary kitchen.

The project stayed on budget and largely on schedule, with only minor delays to outdoor works due to poor weather. The kitchen and downstairs loo are fantastic, and the team were brilliant with detail, taking the time to listen and get everything exactly right.

We recently completed our house extension with Plus Rooms and overall we’re very pleased with the outcome. At the beginning of the build there was an unexpected structural issue, but this was promptly coordinated and professionally addressed by their team. They communicated clearly, brought in the right specialists, and resolved the matter efficiently, which gave us confidence in how they handle challenges. The rest of the project ran smoothly, the build team were respectful and organised, and the final finish is to a high standard. We knew of Plus Rooms from seeing their work at another property. We did a back extension and loft conversion (plus some work on the first floor). The team were fantastic. We were nervous as we hadn’t done any big extensions/renovation before so the design/plan/build set up really suited us. We had initial meetings where they showed us the possibilities that we had for our house and we were so impressed by their vision and the concepts they had to help us picture how the house could look. We were then given our own set of project managers who were brilliant. We had weekly meetings with them updating us on the project and working through any issues. Their advice and experience was incredibly valuable ensuring we felt more comfortable and helped us make better decisions for the overall build.

Plus Rooms included the whole package in terms of completing all the paperwork from applying for planning permission and all the surveys. Their pre-planning package was thorough and included a soil survey and a tree survey. Plus Rooms may have worked out a little dearer than another company we got quotes for but it is difficult to do an exact comparison as Plus Rooms’ quote was all encompassing whilst another company gave costs separately for steels and other components that would have most likely increased as the project progressed. The Pre-planning team was very helpful and answered all the queries from a novice to home extension. They handled all the paperwork and everything went to plan and work started as scheduled. We also had a very positive experience with the building team from start to finish, with the whole building project well managed by a project co-ordinator with whom we kept in touch on a weekly basis and kept us in the loop about the progress of the project. The building team kept to the schedule and worked in some weeks, 6 days a week 8am to 5pm. A temporary kitchen consisting of the sink, fridge and washing machine was set up at the back of the living room and we lived in the house throughout the building work. Now that the new kitchen is in and the extension is completed it was worth all the dust and dirt.
