A comprehensive transformation was undertaken which featuring an extension of the kitchen into the side return to seamlessly align with the rear wing, achieving a harmonious and flush finish. The renovative plan involved the removal of the existing WC, streamlining the space for a more efficient layout. In a bid to optimise space and enhance the overall design, the chimney breast in both the rear reception room and kitchen were skillfully removed. A creative reconfiguration took place in the rear reception area, where a section was partitioned to create a new WC and coats area, adding functionality to the space. A key design strategy included opening up the rear reception wall to establish an open-plan layout, integrating the existing kitchen with the new extension seamlessly. To ensure a clean and polished look, the flank wall and chimney steels were discreetly concealed, contributing to the overall aesthetic of the renovated space.
