We opted for a pitched roof because the clients wanted multiple skylights to attract more natural light into the space. The feature rear glass tracks the roof to create an interesting angle and helps zone the room. Clever design choices involved no access through to the reception, which creates more space for kitchen and dining. As this was a modest extension which extended into the side return, it affords a great sense of space without impinging on the rear garden.

We are delighted with our new kitchen. We hired Plus Rooms for a side return kitchen extension in our Victorian terrace and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to do similar. We were well looked after by our project manager, and found the build and finishing teams to be really open and communicative - always happy to answer our questions, explain their approach and check we were happy with things before they were finalised. They were also nice people to have around - which was important given they were here for about six months. They were also considerate of our neighbours. The sub-contractors ( eg window suppliers) were also of a really high standard and worked hard to ensure things were perfect. Would recommend Plus Rooms to anyone who wants a clear process and communicative, responsive team. The project manager and build team were great - we felt well looked after by the project manager and the build team were always open to explain their work and answer our questions and make modifications as we went along. We had a similar experience with the finishing team who installed our kitchen for us once the build was done. They were all nice people to have around too which was important as they were here a while! The sub-contractors that plus rooms used were all of a high standard too and we always felt we were in good hands.
