Contemplative space in Tulse Hill

A glass valley helps bring natural light into this home
The kitchen on this Victorian terrace house has been extended to the side and the rear, creating a large kitchen/dining space and a small sitting area at the rear. The sitting area is complimented by a large picture window and skylight which provide plenty of natural light and great views of the landscaped garden. The dark grey kitchen contrasts wonderfully with the white walls and work surface, the whole space has then been softened by the beautiful parquet flooring that runs throughout the space. We have installed an angled glass panel above the door leading to the garden which maximises the natural light and gives definition to the vaulted ceiling.
