A carefully considered layout
This kitchen extension creates a generous, light-filled open-plan space that brings together cooking, dining and relaxed family living. A large central island provides a practical focal point, complemented by elegant shaker-style cabinetry, crisp marble-effect worktops and warm brass detailing. The vaulted roof and series of rooflights draw natural light deep into the room, while expansive glazed doors and the full-width rear glazing create a strong connection with the garden and make the space feel bright and spacious. The carefully considered layout provides distinct yet connected zones for cooking, dining and relaxing, with soft neutral tones, natural textures and contemporary finishes adding warmth and character. Externally, the traditional brick-built extension and pitched roof complement the original property, while the generous glazing introduces a modern architectural touch and creates a seamless transition between the home and garden.

We knew of Plus Rooms from seeing their work at another property. We did a back extension and loft conversion (plus some work on the first floor). The team were fantastic. We were nervous as we hadn’t done any big extensions/renovation before so the design/plan/build set up really suited us. We had initial meetings where they showed us the possibilities that we had for our house and we were so impressed by their vision and the concepts they had to help us picture how the house could look. We were then given our own set of project managers who were brilliant. We had weekly meetings with them updating us on the project and working through any issues. Their advice and experience was incredibly valuable ensuring we felt more comfortable and helped us make better decisions for the overall build. I could write more, but in short we would definitely recommend Plus Rooms. The quality of work is brilliant and the team were fantastic every step of the way. We love our home. Thank you Plus Rooms Less
