This 1930s property has been completely transformed through the addition of a large gable roof extension
At 5 metres in length, the extension is a fair bit larger than most local authorities would allow, but we secured permission through the temporary Prior Approval scheme that was introduced by the government a few years ago.
The original rear reception room of the property has been partially converted into a good size utility room, and the remainder of the space has been added to the new extension. This additional floor area, combined with the large extension, has provided a wonderfully spacious living, kitchen and dining area for the family.
The large sliding doors and structural roof glazing provides plenty of natural light in the summer and gives the space a bit of sparkle in the winter.
