We used Plus Rooms to build a ground floor kitchen extension which included a small utility room and a shower room. On the whole we were very happy with the quality of the work. The project was completed on time and more or less within our planned budget.  The work done by the building team was of a high standard and they were always polite and considerate (both to us and our neighbours). The electrician, plumber and finishing team were fantastic. Our project manager was really helpful and responsive. There were times when as one team finished a task, the next appeared on the scene and got to work, like a well oiled machine. It was a real pleasure to meet them all and work with them. Having the work done was more stressful than we anticipated, but having Plus Rooms teams working for us meant it was much less stressful than it could have been.  Plus Rooms was speedy to respond to the pandemic and came up with good, well measured and appropriate safety plans. They were well ahead of the curve on this, and they remain ahead of many firms still.  However two things detracted from the overall performance. Initial planning did not properly take into account that our house was on a slope, and we felt we had to repeatedly ask for the rear foundations to be suitably adjusted. And when the steels arrived it was apparent that some of them had not been well measured, and required considerable adjustment (cutting, and welding of additional panels). Both these issues were resolved, but we felt they shouldn’t have occurred in the first place.  The finished result looks better than we ever imagined and we would definitely recommend Plus Rooms to any one considering an extension.
