We chose Plus Rooms for our kitchen side return extension after getting quotes from three companies in total.
From the beginning, the Plus Rooms team knew what we were looking for and managed the whole process efficiently. From initial consultation to completion, Plus Rooms delivered on time and within budget with professionalism and good humour.
Should any issues arise (and there will always be some), the build team outlined the issue and discussed the benefits and disadvantages of their proposed solutions. Hiding the kitchen beam, for example, would have caused damage to the 1st floor due to the lack of cavity space. In the end, we decided that we could live with the boxed in beam and would prefer to level the kitchen ceiling to hide the discrepancies of an old house.
Having an in-house door company also removed any worries that the huge bi-fold door wouldn’t fit.
As others have said, the quality of the build was excellent and has been commented on by our kitchen company and garden designers.
There were some niggles with the finishing team, they were difficult to contact and slow due to having taken on other work, but the quality was good.
We would recommend Plus Rooms and wouldn’t hesitate to use them should the need arise in future.
