We are so pleased that we used Plus Rooms to do the renovation of our Victorian terraced house in the second half of 2021. The project involved doing our side return to make our kitchen bigger, extending to make a ‘snug’ at the back of the house, cleverly reconfiguring the middle room to make a utility and downstairs WC, moving a wall, refitting the upstairs bathroom, and redecorating throughout. Plus Rooms were professional and a pleasure to work with throughout. The project management was excellent, and communication was superb. The builders were just lovely people. They worked incredibly hard, were very clear about any decisions required and were so tidy and polite. It was a pleasure to have them around. The same was true of the Plus Rooms finishing team, who we used to do the decorating as it made the handover between teams really seamless. The other people who they coordinated (Integral Windows, the plumbers and electricians etc), were also all very professional and genuinely nice people. The finish is just lovely. The quality of the design and the skill of the people (tilers, painters, etc) really shows in the final result. Despite working through the pandemic, the project was only delayed by 2 weeks which we thought was amazing, and was completely finished for us the week before Christmas. It took only 5 months, which was hugely important to us, and was delivered to the budget they had given us at the beginning (including contingencies). Doing this kind of project (especially on a house with no side access!!) is definitely stressful and we really appreciated the speed at which they were able to deliver it, going above and beyond to manage the timings during the pandemic when materials were often difficult to procure. We know other people whose similar projects have taken almost a year, so to do so much in only 5 months, and to such a high standard, we feel was well worth the cost. We are very confident to recommend Plus Rooms.
