Plus Rooms recently completed a side return extension on our Victorian terrace, which we are very pleased with. We chose Plus Rooms mainly because they clearly had lots of experience in designing and building side return projects and were willing to share their ideas for what would work and what wouldn’t at an early stage, before we’d committed ourselves to them. They were competitive on price. The quote was clear on what was included and what would be extra – although note that the finishing allowances are fairly basic so we ended up spending a bit more. The project was very well managed and run. Plus Rooms took care of the design phase, obtained the necessary permissions and helped with the party wall agreement, although it was our responsibility to put this in place. The building phase was completed on time and on budget and our project manager kept us informed throughout and resolved a couple of small issues that arose in the course of the works very quickly. The electricians, plumbers and finishing team were all extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. We lived in the house throughout the works (even over the Christmas period) and this was less difficult than we’d envisaged.
