Plus Rooms included the whole package in terms of completing all the paperwork from applying for planning permission and all the surveys. Their pre-planning package was thorough and included a soil survey and a tree survey. Plus Rooms may have worked out a little dearer than another company we got quotes for but it is difficult to do an exact comparison as Plus Rooms’ quote was all encompassing whilst another company gave costs separately for steels and other components that would have most likely increased as the project progressed. The Pre-planning team was very helpful and answered all the queries from a novice to home extension. They handled all the paperwork and everything went to plan and work started as scheduled. We also had a very positive experience with the building team from start to finish, with the whole building project well managed by a project co-ordinator with whom we kept in touch on a weekly basis and kept us in the loop about the progress of the project. The building team kept to the schedule and worked in some weeks, 6 days a week 8am to 5pm. A temporary kitchen consisting of the sink, fridge and washing machine was set up at the back of the living room and we lived in the house throughout the building work. Now that the new kitchen is in and the extension is completed it was worth all the dust and dirt.
