Plus Rooms were great. The in house team which deals with all the pre-building and planning work are lovely and very responsive to our queries, and problem-solved some tricky issues related to our site. And the builders, electrician, plumber and finishers were very expert, hard working and of a high standard. Having a fixed price agreed in advance and a project manager overseeing every detail hugely reduced the stress of a project with so many strands and tradesmen – particularly as we stayed there during the works. We’re so pleased that we used PlusRooms. Not only are we delighted with the end result of our new kitchen and extension, but we were impressed with their professionalism and quality of work throughout. Their process is very thorough, with pre-construction checks on drains, soil etc, and having an integrated team oversee the whole job made all the difference, from planning permission and party wall agreements to project-managing the build and finishing. The tradesmen (eg builders, electrician, plumber and finishing team) and partners (Integral glazing and Braverman kitchens) were all lovely to deal with and worked to a very high standard. And when we needed to tweak something, the unexpected happened or we needed additional works they were flexible and responsive at every stage. Having a project manager to manage all the different elements to the timetable was a life saver, and he was brilliant, with weekly catch up meetings and absolute clarity on costs and careful quality checks – any problems were picked up quickly and resolved. Timing is a real strength, they were responsive from initial contact, building work started when planned (and even finished early) and we always knew where we were. We really felt as if we were in very safe hands. And we loved the temporary kitchen they installed! (Google)
