Plus Rooms did a knock through kitchen / dining / living room extension for us in 2016 and we would recommend them to anyone considering similar work that wants to avoid the hassle of having to manage planning / builders / plumbers / electricians themselves. The build phase went pretty much to plan with only a minor delay due to the discovery of an unknown sewer pipe and the periodic payments were only requested when there was clear evidence and agreement from both parties of the work being completed. The building team were very considerate and always left the site very clean and tidy and did an excellent job setting us up with a temporary kitchen. Our project manager Alex was excellent: very communicative, always very clear, and always strove to iron out issues that arose, even after the build and his official coverage. Our only reason for not giving five stars was that there were some issues on our planning meaning our first submission was rejected which could have potentially been foreseen although, that said, we prefer the second design. The other thing to be aware of is that, whilst Plus Rooms provide total project management for the design and build phases, once they hand over to the finishing team for decorating and final electrics and plumbing you have to liaise direct with the different guys and effectively project manage them. As they work on multiple jobs at once this can take some coordinating. Overall an excellent experience and we would use them again. Thanks Plus Rooms!
