Plus Rooms have just completed a hip to gable attic extension under PD and a side return extension on my Victorian end of terrace house. We started with another design and build company and had a very disappointing experience including a failed planning application as a result of poor / lacking design advice.
Plus Rooms have been a breath of fresh air from the start. James talked through what we wanted to do and within an hour had prepared a quotation for us and sat and discussed it with us. He was upfront on the costs right and although it was more than we had hoped, we were encouraged by his design ideas and the recommendation from another friend who had used him and decided to go ahead – which was the RIGHT decision! The end result is excellent, and except for unforeseen issues with nearby trees and our changes to the agreed specification, the costs did not escalate. All the trades that Plus Rooms use are knowledgeable and produce a high quality of finish with minimal fuss. They kept to time and communicated well throughout the build process. We would use them again.
