Plus Rooms recently completed a side return kitchen extension in our Victorian terrace house. We had considered having an architect develop a design and tendering for builders ourselves but having been through the design and build process with Plus Rooms, we were very glad that we had chosen this route for our project.
We were impressed by the personal service we received from a senior partner in the company at the outset in developing the design and project plan. It was particularly helpful with budget planning to have a project proposal that flagged up all potential additional costs that could arise during the project. Plus Rooms made the process of obtaining planning permission and party wall agreements painless and were very responsive to any queries we had in the development stage prior to the build commencing.
Our excellent project manager paid attention to detail, visited regularly during the build and followed up on any issues straight away. One of the benefits of using Plus Rooms is the coordination between the various trades involved in the project, all of whom work together on a regular basis. We were particularly impressed with the plumber and electrician who were friendly, accommodating and expert.
We used Integral Home, a sister company of Plus Rooms for our kitchen design / fitting and glazing work. We hadn’t quite appreciated how much the overall design is influenced by the kitchen design so it was very valuable to work with a kitchen designer who presented creative solutions for the best use of space. Again, having everything under the Plus Rooms umbrella was a big plus in terms of coordination and stress reduction.
Overall we are very pleased with our new space and would highly recommend Plus Rooms to anyone undertaking a similar build.
