We used Plus Rooms to extend the kitchen of our Victorian terraced house into the garden, build a first floor extension above it, and build over the side return. This involved knocking out most of the supporting walls on the ground floor, and propping the upper floors up while steels were fitted and new walls built. Potentially very stressful….
The build team were very professional and filled us with confidence, and the build went ahead without much drama. There were a couple of unexpected hitches early on, but these were dealt with so well that this just inspired further confidence. The project co-ordinator was friendly and approachable. He kept us up to date on progress with weekly reports, and was available on the phone if anything needed sorting out.
The build was done over the winter months, with us living in the house using the temporary kitchen which they set up in our living room, but the whole experience has been less stressful than expected and I would be happy to use Plus Rooms if I was to do this again.
