Plus Rooms completed a 4.5m kitchen extension for us earlier this year – incorporating the addition of a new kitchen, living area, WC & utility room. They were extremely professional throughout and helped make the whole process from start to finish relatively pain-free. We both work full time and could never envisage taking on build like this without a project manager in place. When we finally had the funds to proceed Plus Rooms provided the cheapest of the three quotes (compared with a main competitor, and a local design/build company) – this was surprising given many of the reviews I had read previously stated that their services were at the higher end of the scale price wise.
Our Project Manager worked with us right through to completion and managed all of the contractors well so that we rarely had to get involved, bar the odd nudge on timescales. The contractors used were always friendly and work seems to have been finished to a high standard. Conditions were incredibly wet and muddy for much of the build but despite this, the job was completed to time (pretty much). I was really impressed with the temp kitchen they set up too – with dishwasher, sink, washing machine in our small front room – we were able to juggle life with our two kids and dog because of this, it was all manageable (if a bit cramped!). They made what could have been a really challenging living situation into one that was relatively pain-free.
We are so happy with the finished job – it really has been transformative for us as a busy family with growing kids. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Plus Rooms to anyone looking for similar work. If we ever move and need something similar doing we’d use them again.
