We recently had a wrap around extension built by Plus Rooms, and having never done this before they took the stress out of the process. Our project coordinator was great at keeping us up to date on timings and stages of work and they were so good at explaining things to us when we didn’t understand. We bought a do-er upper house and went about renovating with a wraparound extension. Whilst Plus Rooms were doing the extension we also changed the layout inside the house to create a boot room, utility room and downstairs loo under the stairs. Plus Rooms were great at managing these additional bits, and as we don’t have much experience in projects like this our coordinator was brilliant at explaining the process and giving us tips. They were really considerate of our neighbours and tidied up every day – and we were working at home during the renovations and they were considerate of us being in the house as well. After meeting with several companies, we felt that Plus Rooms gave the most realistic quote, and now the works are done we’re still sure of that. Having not done house renovations before, our project coordinator was great at explaining every step of the process, giving us options, and making clear the timings and price differences. We’ve learnt a lot along the way! The building team completed the structural works quickly and we lived in the house throughout the build. They were very considerate and tidied up every evening. The extension blends with the house seamlessly and feels like it’s always been there.
