Plus Rooms created a comfort zone for two extremely nervous homeowners renovating for the first time. At every phase of our recent large-scale project — loft and ground-floor extension with complete rehaul of plumbing and electrics and refurbishment of several additional rooms — the team’s expertise, experience and empathy shone through. We especially appreciated Plus Room’s 1) responsiveness and communicativeness, which extended to meeting with our neighbours on several occasions when they had questions or concerns; 2) attention to detail, whether in carrying out planning permission or putting the final touches on the finishing work — e.g., a solution for matching stair railings to maintain period features in our home; 3) deep experience in every phase of the project, which enabled the company to deal confidently and swiftly with challenges , including many difficulties created by the pandemic. Despite the Covid-induced supply-chain disruptions and labour shortages, Plus Rooms delivered the goods and contracted excellent, personable employees to complete our project within a reasonable time and budget. The company had been recommended by my co-worker, and it has been a surprise and, frankly, a relief, that any building company could live up to his unqualified endorsement; but with their high standards of workmanship and reliability, Plus Rooms has met and exceeded our expectations.
